Fieldlab was created by Dr. Alison Monette as a way to continue the learning experience for patients and health seekers in between office visits and beyond. Think of Avena as your one-on-one health care and Fieldlab as your greater learning ecosystem.​

​Fieldlab is an educational experience connecting you to a peer-to-peer network rooted in nature as the source of honest truth for health. Your field determines your health. It’s simple — if you want health, the source of information is this field needs to from nature. We guide you through the journey of decentralized thinking so you can interact with nature’s wisdom and be the creator of your own vital self. ​

Our Ethos
#1: We believe that health is within each person. Given the right environment/field, anyone can achieve optimal health, regardless of genetics. 
#2: We see a simple fix to the complex health crisis: when people know better, they do better. This means that with the right knowledge, anyone can take charge of their environment to be the CEO of their health and avoid centralized medicine completely.

Education + Community

Our private, member’s only space where we unify these components into one coherent domain.
We offer 2 different membership levels so you can engage with the Fieldlab ecosystem your way. If you’re somebody who loves to learn and prefers to take a DIY approach, the “Basic” level might be the best place to start and is always free. If you need extra support and would like to engage with our team more closely, the “Premium” membership is a great choice and will afford you access to Monthly Q&A sessions with Dr. Monette; this option is $48/month. Regardless of what membership level you choose, you will always have access to our online community of like-minded individuals.

Field Trips

Fieldlab Field Trips are not retreats - in fact, they are exactly the opposite. It is a opportunity to reawaken, reimagine, reinvigorate and reconnect with your inner vitality. An opportunity to grow wiser through experience, empowered through knowledge and stronger through community. 

We have designed these Field Trips for the curious, lifelong learner, who craves that "new knowledge" feeling - the unique surge of excitement, energy and discomfort that only comes when something new becomes something known or something old becomes something new again.
